Reintroducing the idea of Typhoon Amusement Park

Have satellites track a building storm of category 4-5 as it makes landfall on the coasts of the Philippines. Preconstructed ties are rented out at 10000 dollars per day. Tourists from around the world flock to the Philippines to enjoy their seasonal typhoons. Imagine. The white tourists secure the preconstructed ties to their waist (after being secured in a metallic suit not unlike Ironman) like a bungee cord and they ride out the storm firsthand or they may sit in extravagance and luxury in their tethered "aeroshell" which generates lift as high speed winds rush underneath its transparent cabin floor. They get to witness firsthand the destruction of countless property along the coastline as the level 5 storm pummels into the Philippines. Then they get to write about it in their blogs.

I imagine the aeroshell option would be significantly more expensive.

You can also apply that idea to southern China. The supertyphoon has now left the Philippines and is fast going to Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau. So you could also set up those ties there. Macau can charge a premium for typhoon tourism.

No because there's no shacks in those places that will get tossed around to demonstrate the wind velocity. Also by the time the supertyphoon hits those places their wind velocity has quickly died down so that the mayhem doesn't last. The natural disaster tourism wouldn't be as lucrative in those places.

Of course you can. You just need to make buildings into a different shape. Has my aeroshell example taught you nothing?

It would be a thrilling ride indeed but the flying debris might cause some fatal bludgeoning
